Before Christmas we made cross stitch pictures to take home. We made a design on a piece of graph paper and then we had to stitch our material. When we had finished our teacher put them in a frame and added a calendar tab. We thought Alex did hers really well. You can see a star in the top corner - this is to show that her work had made her our 'Star of the week'.

Today we did P.E! It was great because we did balances and I like doing that! We had a sheet to copy and with our partner we had to copy the balances on there. Some of them looked easy but when you did it, it was harder than you thought!

Keen To Be Green!

Dear Russian Friends,
How are you? We've just started are new topic,Keen To Be Green and we are loving it, especially Holly she loves green. Our topic wall is AMAZING!!! On one side it is full of cool animals and on the other its full of rubbish and litter (not real). Then in the middle there is a huge earth, it really gives off a great atmosphere.

Trashion Show

Dear Russia,
We have started a new topic called 'Keen to be Green' and as part of this topic we have started a project called the 'Trashion Show'! We are making clothes out of old worn out clothes. We will split into groups and I want to be in the designer group! It will be fun!

New Year

Dear Russia,
I hope you had a happy new year, mine was great, I visited Edinburgh and then we went to the street party. There were loads of fireworks, entertainment and singers. Me, my family and friends really enjoyed our stay!

Snow!

Dear Russia,
We are DM EP CB HP JR BM
In England we are meant to be having snow, tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. It should be very fun. The weather forecast is often wrong, so we aren't getting too excited. If it does snow and it snows a lot, we might get a day off school.When it does snow I have snowball fights and go sleighing . I have a trip up to the ski slope to try on some real snow. I make a snowman and have snowball fights with my sister, we make the most of it because it hardly snows here. I normally have to wear 5 pairs of socks, it is so cold!!! I wear lots of layers and I still get cold!!! We are not used to snow like you are! How do you cope with it? Some people are more used to it than others. The reason we get so excited is that it hasn't snowed here until this January and February. We had THREE days off school then, it was AWESOME!!!
