This is a picture of the bird that our school is named after. Herons have a wing span of 175-195 cm and can weigh up to 2kg. This picture was taken from my kitchen window one morning while we were having breakfast.
What a bird !
I do not see them alot, and our school is called Heron because the street is call Heron way and its called that because loads of Herons use to fly around there.

What a nice bird! It looks so impressive on the house roof. Do herons often come to your place? I have never seen a heron on the roof.

Matt, it is worth mentioning the panels on the roof too. Explain what they are perhaps.
